The HP Everybody On (http://www.hp.com/everybodyon) commercial features Lou Reed’s iconic “Walk On The Wild Side” track, and showcases the breadth of products HP makes.
“Everybody On” is a new global marketing campaign by HP’s Personal Systems Group that celebrates how people around the world are using HP technology to pursue their personal and professional passions.
“Everybody On” provides a rich framework that builds on the foundation established by the highly acclaimed ‘The Computer is Personal Again’ campaign. HP recognizes that while five years ago the personal computer was the center of one’s connected life, today people are at the center and their technology – across smartphones, tablets, PCs and cloud services – needs to provide seamless connectivity to what is important to them.
The new ad campaign kicked off in the United States on Feb. 9, 2011. A 60-second anthem TV spot showcased HP’s broad range of solutions – from computers to mobile devices and printers – and how technology connects people to their passions.
During the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast on Feb. 13, HP also announced Alicia Keys as its global ambassador for the new campaign. Alicia shared her for music and the importance of her audience hearing her songs exactly as she recorded them.
HP and Alicia Keys share the same passion to deliver music the way the artists intended it to sound like.
